Call to order: We have combined Q2-Q3 Meetings due to Death in 2 board Members’ families to allow us time to grieve.
Retrospective:

- We need to focus on fundraising and building a foundation.
- Most of our work has been focused on The Lake Erie Lit Fest
- We are proud to announce our latest project, The Lake Erie Literary Festival Saturday September 21. from 12-6 pm
- This year we are partnering with Werner Books, and with a grant from ECGRA, to expand on last year’s inaugural festival, which was held in Washington Park. Due to its popularity, we have moved it to LEAF. Festival goers received thousands of free books last year.
- You can expect:
- Readings and performances from a variety of disciplines
- Interactive workshops with experienced storytellers
- A vibrant marketplace with authors, books, food, crafts, and more.
- Congratulations To Edward Kranz
- Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (CEAP) grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts via Erie Arts & Culture. This prestigious grant will empower BOOKFORGE to transition from a one-off bindery to a full-fledged, hand-crafted production studio.
