FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Erie, Pa – 1/24/2025 – Welcome to OPEN FEED, a collaborative residency and education program produced by FEED and Erie Art Company. We are excited to share details about this 2025 initiative, which reaffirms the Center’s commitment to fostering artistic innovation and support of the media arts community. OPEN FEED has been made possible by a grant from the Erie Community Foundation.
Artist Residency Program
The 2025 Artist Residency will provide a select group of talented digital artists with resources and space to explore new creative ideas through FEED’s first open call selection process. Residents will have access to FEED’s 50,000 sf facility, the freedom to prototype and express ideas, and opportunities to showcase their work. The program’s focus on accessibility and mentorship puts Artists-in-Residence together with local Erie youth via workshops, screenings, panels, and work-for-hire opportunities, creating a runway for Erie’s future digital workforce.
